Spring and Early Summer Appearances

I will not be attending Brewster in Bloom festivities this year but....

Kayaking with Kids is available at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and the Brewster Chamber of Commerce.

A portion of all book sales at the Chamber will be donated to the Brewster Conservation Trust. Your purchase at the Chamber of Commerce (where you buy your beach passes) includes a pail and shovel to collect asphalt and trash from the beaches (while supplies last).

You can support the Brewster Historical Society by purchasing a copy of Breakwater Beach and/or The Widow's Walk at the gift shop. Proceeds will go toward the Captain Elijah Cobb House restoration efforts.

Support local merchants, cultural institutions, and independent authors!

Breakwater Beach, The Widow's Walk and Kayaking with Kids are also available at these fine establishments:

The Brewster Bookstore (Brewster, MA), Booksmith (Orleans, MA), Yellow Umbrella Books (Chatham. MA), Rail Trail Bike and Kayak (Brewster, MA), Blue Umbrella Books, Westfield, MA).

Kayaking with Kids: Easy Cape Cod Day Trips for the Entire Family Will Be Released This Week

A few years back I was a regular guest blogger for the Portable Kayaks Blog, having a blast taking my Sea Eagle with me on all my jaunts. They changed their format, but I continue to kayak and canoe whenever and where ever I get the chance.

Hence, I am publishing Kayaking with Kids: Easy Cape Cod Day Trips for the Entire Family a eco-friendly guide for families vacationing on what is my favorite place in the world to wile away the summer. Look at the gorgeous cover designed by  Rayne Hall and associates.

Even more exciting is a partnership with the Brewster Chamber of Commerce who is celebrating Conservation Day on July 12. I will be there, with prizes and giveaways--and kayak rides for the kiddies. Here is a view of Paine's Creek with Adam and Bill setting off on a paddle into the marsh.

The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and many local businesses including the Brewster Book Store, Woodworks Gallery in Lemon Tree Village, Cape Cod Rail Trail Bike and Kayak and Bass River Kayaks have also partnered with me, and I can not be more thrilled.

Stay tuned for more information about the release date in both print and digital editions. Join the conversation on the Kayaking with Kids blogspot page, Facebook, or on Twitter @Cmoleti #kayakingwithkids
